Duster 150kkm service was R5k with brake pads. About R3k without.
I'm not sure why anyone with a little tool knowledge would let the dealer do brakes, they are the most expensive supplier of pads, plus labour for a 30 min job
Warranty. Although I did previously have brakes fitted at Tyremart. But the price difference between them & the dealer was negligible.

Duster parts are not expensive at all, even at the dealer. Wipers were R240 for both.

I was allowed to negotiate a better price for the quoted service price, for every one of the 4 times I took the 76 for services at the 2 different dealers.

Well I got screwed properly by Ford. I know this is a 4x4 forum.
My Ford Figo 1,4Tdci major service at Ford was Quoted at R11 853 !!!! WTF
I went to see dealer and eventually paid R9500 ! Still a rip off. Considering this is a small car !!
Just did not want to lose warranty.

Most expensive service on a D-4D (up to 220 000km) is the 140 000km service.
It includes the cam belt.

That Ford service price is why I don't buy certain brands....

Still cheaper than I were quoted in 2016 for a cambelt change on a 2.0l VW bus. Were quoted around R7000.00 for cambelt replacement alone.
If I remember correctly the price of the cambelt kit alone were around R4600.00
You will never find me without Stroh or a 4x4 :D

I have just bought the goodies to service Luigi, SWAMBO-Lite's Fiat 500. R840 all in, including 1.5 lt of full synthetic Shell Helix X8 oil more than needed.
I refuse to be POLITICALLY CORRECT to impress others - Deal with it
FLEX is UNDERRATED
