Ek weet - wou maar net vir MalMan choke met sy Skesuzu se 6 dienste. (ek is 'n Isuzu ondersteuner as dit by Jap dieselbakkies kom, BTW ;) )

Die onderhoudsplan op die NP300 was minder as die helfte van die afslag wat ons gekry het, so effektief was dit verniet.

"Came with..." ?

I seriously doubt it...

According to Nissan's notoriously sloppy Website, on the NP300 Commercial models, a SERVICE PLAN is Optional.
They don't even mention a MAINTENANCE PLAN.

The dealer offered us a maintenance plan and it cost about 50% of the discount received, so it was purchased including the maintenance plan, for less than the list price at the time. You should know not to believe the internet blindly  There are sites on the net claiming that Toyotas are the worlds most reliable and most exciting vehicles ......................

Got a quote from Ford to service a Focus 1.0. Major service is R3800.

Went for another quote at Goch and Cooper. Same service is R2900

Dealers won't see my business once the service plan expires. They rip you off big time

You also find that different dealers charge differently for the same service, when we had the X-trail, Nissan Edenvale charged R3200 for the one service, Nissan Bruma did the same service for R1650. Still got the Nissan stamp in the book.

Not at Toyota.
It's standardised...

Prove it.

If you get three quotes from three different dealers in three different metros and I will be prepared to concede.

Toyota has an App, My Toyota, you can get a price on any service via the App, then you know what you're in for.

And the dealers abide by the quoted price? If so, good on Toyota.

On the myToyota App you enter what service you want done and at which dealership.
Doesn't matter what dealership you choose- price is exactly the same.

Drivers of lesser brands will struggle to grasp this concept

Let me help you guys - Wimpy has had standard product and pricing for decades.
Toyota has done the same.

Yet as a member of our group, you qualify for reduced labour rates and a discount on spares

Good comparison made between Wimpy and Toyota. One tastes of plastic and the other requires taste in plastic.

I'm not sure why anyone with a little tool knowledge would let the dealer do brakes, they are the most expensive supplier of pads, plus labour for a 30 min job
