How far do you travel to 4x4
Overlanding excluded from this one. My aim is on trails and 4x4 outings.
Most of our better trails are more than 200km away. I even did trips up to 700km from home with the Yank Ranger when I still owned it.
Seems that some of the local 4x4 owners in our town does not like it to venture more than the odd 50km out.

You will never find me without Stroh or a 4x4

Grips drove from Kathu to Giyani to do River Trip.
That's about 1000km I think.

I've driven to CT to do Atlantis Dunes - but I didn't go purely to 4x4 - in fact I would have gone anyway. So it doesn't count.
To purely 4x4 the farthest I've driven was to Oyster Bay when I arranged the 1st NGTG for the 4x4Community Forum.
That was about 1000km.
I've also been to Whoooooopah! at Boegoebergdam (Groblershoop).
That's 775km away & it's for a dune driving GTG.
But generally, for a day trail, I won't do more than 150 - 200km max.

Quack you stay at the end of the World.
Must say you are one of the guys doing very long hauls to attend 4x4 events.
I also know that you does not exceed 100km/h traveling there

Kurt, he did it twice in one weekend.
Benoni - Baboons, the pass, back home, new side shaft, then to baboons again & home.
1800km.
That's what made it Most Extreme....
