Bass lake 4x4 Adventures 23 December
Hi guys some more info on 23 Dec
So far 8 of the 4x4 Action group guys going
Pls RSVP

meet at gate 6:45am
Gate open 7am
Pay at the Gate R150/Person

Drive down to the Lake and past the Shop to the Last 2 Thatched Roof area away from the Water to leave camping chairs etc there
Im leaving My Bus there and doing the trail with my SJ

Then walk to the Shop to get your 4x4 permit R50 and map (Allan said we do not need to pay the R100 Rules Payment )
Then deflate your Tyres if necessary and make your way back up close to the main gate to the Trail start
Deflated and ready to go 8:00am

A 4x4- trail / obstacles Grading - 3/4 some 5 if Requested
How long - 14km est 3 Hrs
Water crossings - 2 deep 650mm through reeds. And 350mm Plenty of technical obstacles.
All serious obstacles have bypasses.

I will attach the 6 pages of the maps and info for you guys

Rest of program - After the Trail we will have a Bring and Braai (bring some Charcoal)
Trail start 8 am and we should be done by 11am give 1 hr for unforeseen start fires est 12am and Braai by 1 pm
We need to be out of the Facility by 15:00 is there last day and have a function for their staff

I'm in :) My son will be there with the grand kids. He's not doing the trail but they'll be playing in the lake on the rubber duck. I can always phone him when we get towards the end so he can start the fire for us.
