Oil Changes

#1

Post by Chris Stoffel »

Raait People. Please pay attention. I have a Jeep TJ, with a Lexus VVTI motor. Fondly referred to as Franken Jeep by others.

I've had it for 16 months and done about 4000km with it during that time. Castrol 10W40 Magnateck is the recommended oil for the motor. Should I change the oil every year when I do so few kilometers? Every 2 years perhaps?

Nothing to lose to service it at least once a year.

All vehicle manufacturers state that services must happen every “so many” kilometers or annually. So I would service it every 12 months.
