Now that I agree. Having said that though Kingsley had had massive success with only slightly modified new Discoveries so maybe they only look soft.

To this dateI have never seen a Jeep on a mine doing hard labour. Also never saw a farmer using any other Jeep than the old Gladiator, CJ 2A or CJ6, 7.
Still think the the old coal burning Cruiser are safe.

This was some time back that it became 5 star. It was 2 or 3 star. Then they added ABS & DSC or some or other aids to make it 5. But the problem is that what earns you 5 star today would have earned you 3 star a few years ago. So what will they add next to retain a 5 star rating? They will run out of tricks as ANCAP gradually move the goal posts.grips wrote:

1HZ replaced in most markets by the V8. Only Africa and few other Countries that the 1HZ is stil available.
1HZ one of the last Diesel Engines left that are Africa proof.
