suggestions?
So, I happen to have, laying around a 1958 Mopar 354 (5,8l) Spitfire engine with 3 speed torque flight box on a full Windsor Chassis
It's the 'cheap' version of the Hemi - they basically changed the heads to a cheaper to manufacture version which cost 30hp or so over a Hemi.
but, it's a pretty motor and quite classic.
these are images off the web to show that they clean up okay:
It does turn over so it's rebuildable. I was thinking of a rat rod, but it's not something I'd drive... maybe stick it in a Jeep? nice period mod?
or sell it to someone who will do something really fun with it?

You could make a pretty cool advert/shop truck with this kit which only costs R54k.

Only old school engines don’t have an engine cover. Like the AmarokKurtG wrote:Whatever you do, please make sure there is an engine cover on it when it is complete. Else Neil may have a hernia.

Good idea. But then the engine should be totally exposed like in the red car photo that Alex posted.XJ Junkie wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 1:51 pmYou could make a pretty cool advert/shop truck with this kit which only costs R54k.
