I really do not like to talk or comment on tyres. We all have different views and experiences.

Long story short. Four years ago with a lot of emotion I decided to go for MAXTREK 315 mud tyres on the 76. Counting in favour of the Fong Kong brand were price and the three ply side wall.

I also see no use reporting on tyres before the reach the end of their life cycle. They spend many km off-road rock crawling , dune driving and gravel travel. Only one puncture when a piece of steel wire went through the side wall. No sidewall cuts, no cracks, no chunks ripped out . Were great at sand driving with pressure at 0.6. Only were inflated above 1.6 during normal driving if the vehicle were fully loaded.

With 65k km on them I am happy. If I push hard they will see 70k km but I think time has come to replace.
