Just as the missus and I are looking at upgrading from the trusty Echo 4, I stumble across this thread…

Anyways. I found out about BorderX and made the mistake of showing the missus the Extreme and the Outpost 3 sleeper

Extreme @ 429k (base price) https://www.borderx.co.za/extreme/
Outpost @ 550k (base price) https://www.borderx.co.za/outpost/
Expedition @ 660k (base price) https://www.borderx.co.za/expedition/

Looks like I’m about to make a bad financial decision. 😂😅

I walked through BorderX's workshop recently en was highly impressed! The Expedition just needs the right towing vehicle as it is quite heavy and bulky for wind resistance, but would purchase it in an instance. Great workmanship!
It's all relative...

Just as an fyi, our new branch in Centurion will be up and running by mid next week. We may be able to help with a trailer that suit your needs, meaning we can design it according to your requirements. May be worth looking at if you struggle to find something that meets your requirements.

That Border X is looks very close to the Adventure extreme

I was looking for something small to sleep inside

Wishlists change quickly
We looked at alot of options but started looking at something we can sleep inside with Inside Shower and Full toilet

I got a lead on a Adventure extreme samurai and 3 days later We went to collect

December 2024 model with more than R80k Upgrades
And was still cheaper as a std new one

Used it once
Sent it to the Factory in Springs for my upgrades :D
Before our USA trip
Now we back and can start enjoying it

So the 3 trailers names
Wilderness hope
Jurgens Xt140 Shadow
Adventure extreme samurai SUNSHINE 🌞

Sunshine tow and push around alot easier than the JURGENS
