They were more than I wanted to spend, but....I imagine the Jeep will probably cost me more in the long run.

I looked at a couple of Poers and an H9 which were very nice before pulling the trigger on a Jeep GC.

I tested a bigger camping trailer. Family growing, need more space. Seems to be a guess at around 1.5T with the amount I packed into it.
I honestly expected the P series to struggle with acceleration for an overtake, getting up to speed on a hill. Not the case at all. On pull off I notice a bit more of the lag, but once moving its like the trailer isnt there.
T&Cs, I have never towed this heavy before so cant compare to my other vehicles. I am sure my old 3.2 mapped Ranger would have done better by a long shot.
The cars 40k service is soon, and tyres look to be on their last decade.

Quick update.
After 59,000 relatively trouble free Kilometers, m P-Series journey has come to an end.
It’s been the best vehicle I’ve ever owned, well second best after what I‘ve just purchased.

60 000km is outstanding mileage for a Kong Bakkie...
Well done!
