I have owned my share of Isuzu`s. Not a bad product. Unfortunately like Nissan (I currently owns two) their dealer experience is nonexistent.
For me a brand is all about dealer support.

In Kaktu maybe, but here in the Province of Milk & Money my local. Isuzu dealership has been good....
One other thing, I spoke to the technical expert at Exedy clutches and he advised that there are 2 size clutches plates being( if memory serves) a 16" and a 17,5".
In 2010 - 2013, Toyota were changing over to the bigger clutch plate because the smaller just couldn't handle the load.
My VIN says use the smaller clutch plate but I installed the bigger clutch plate ( plug and play with zero mods) and I believe that has made the biggest difference in clutch longevity
I still haven't bought a clutch for Fearless.
Billy, yes, I have the larger one in now.
I did order a Valeo Clutch Kit for my 2000 KB 280DT, the clutch was last replaced 16 years/144000km ago.
I paid R3750 for the clutch. When it arrived the supplier had accidentally sent a Sachs Clutch.
So I scored there!

I think they are 260mm dia. vs 275mm dia,
17.5 inches is 445mm, the clutch cant be that big.
While you two have been babbling on about Straw I've been making Hay.
Found a place called Inyathi Clutch.
Guy is getting me prices on Exedy Heavy Duty Clutches.
Stage1, Stage 2 & Stage 3.
Hopefully Cheaper than Terrain Over-Charger.
So far...
Prices:
Toyota OEM Clutch- R8 200.00 including a seal you don't need
Terrain Tamer Standard - R19 400.00
Terrain Tamer H/Duty - R26 700.00
Mintrams Spares LUK R6 600
Inyati R5 640 for a Valeo.
So if the Exedy Stage 1 comes in at a fair price, that's what I'll go for...
