I have just heard some sad news

Alan Pepper (owner of Bass Lake) has suddenly passed away.
2005 TD42 "Masewa"
1996 TB48 "Skilpad"
1993 TB42 "Shortie"
1985 SD33 "Toro"

Real sad news, RIP Alan.

That is sad! He showed me that my 4x4 can be used much harder than I was willing at the time. Very nice guy, he will be missed
Cheese, canals and mud. Flattest country in the world. Wish they had 4x4'ing here

The facilities at Bass Like is quite wide, with the scuba diving, open water events, picnic etc.
So I cannot imagine it closing, but the 4x4 trail may not be that big a part of the business anymore.
