Need some assistance for Accomodation where you guys have stayed before in the past


We 2 Couples planning a rest in Umhlanga Self catering
No Camping
Will be driving the 4MOTION and A-Frame Towing my Beach Buggy behind the Bus.

Then on the way home we want to go up Sani Pass

Sleep at Sani Lesothoside so we can enjoy some cold ones there (Need contact details for self catering or BnB up the Pass or very close


Then the Next day go to Katse dam
Sleep there (Again Need contact details for self catering or BnB) close to or At Katse dam



Then next day drive to Afri Ski and spend a night there
(Again Need referrals for accommodation at or near Afri Ski )


Yes yes yes I can Google

But give me info where you have overnighter

Stayed at Motobeng Lodge at Katse about 10 years ago. Was quite decent back then (self catering)

I have personally seen a HIACE go up there with 20+ pax...he will be fine!

@Manny Sani was a walk in the park vor my Syncro Towing a bus out of Sani 2018

4MOTION should have no issues

You do know those Hi-Aces are all special edition 4x4?

As far as I know, Afri Ski is closed.
Oxbow Lodge is cheap enough.

So after some Digging and phoning around

Will do KZN

on the way back

Sani pass and Booked in by the Dani mountain top lodge

Then do Katse dam wall and area
Sleepover Matebong lodge - this was whete most of the sub contractors building the dam wall stayed and now converted to a beautiful Lodge


Next day do a bit of driving and have lunch at Afri ski
Then Moteng pass and another 1 or 2
Going out to FouriesBurg and Sleep over at Mike and Natalie from Boulders Lodge
Mike does Adventure rides and bike training in the mountains

Then off to Clarens for lunch and then home wards
