Thanks Manny. Saved that one for my retirement projects. I have some cunning plans for a Discovery 1 based rock buggy as well as converting the Tata to solid axles.

Some Feedback:
I took my D-Teq to SAJCO.
They said that, if I bring them the OEM seal, they'll fit it.
1 hours labour charge.

I bought the seal, R103.30

They fitted it..

Half the price that Shaun's guy charged a year ago (the guy who said it didn't need replacing & said he'd do it as a favour)

So given that SAJCO had , so far, impressed me, I took the Colt to them (when we collected the D-Teq an hour ago).
They said the Colt is bad (it certainly felt & sounded bad).
Front bearing tearing loose.
Rear bearing fubar.
Center bearing needs replacement.
They have quoted R3400 - so far...

I'll give feedback when its done.

Hi Manny,

I have used SAJCO quite a bit over the years and had great service from them both with the initial sale and after sales
One of the few places you meet the boss working the sales counter

Not the cheapest
