So these CAWE products do not work so well for me because:

1. I already had one sensor that failed, does not matter if I change the battery it is still dead
2. Some tyre sensors don’t transmit, very weird i.e. front left and back right tyre sensors. It can be fixed by going to each wheel and unscrewing the sensor and the screwing it back on again, very annoying
3. Bushlapas sensors take ages to transmit yet the fridge sensor (which is shielded heavily) transmits immediately.

I’ll email CAWE later today but for now I cannot say I am impressed.

CAWE is looking into it... let's see. There was one thing defective a long time ago, that's why Manny's second name is "Broken Rubber"....

Manny, the tpms worked 100% the other day on my cruiser while towing the Bushlapa. On the Prado the sensors go nuts. Cawe said today that a gateway “should help” with this.

My tpms from takelot which monitored 6 wheels without any interference needed no gateway, and i costed R1200 then…


Anyway, I like the cawe integration, alerts and “all in one place” app so i went and ordered a Gateway.

I’ll be back…

Funny it says in quite big text on the website that if you have an iPhone you need a gateway.

Never mind Wessel this new high tech stuff is challenging for people of your age.😂😂😂

Dankie oom🤨.

I guess I need a gateway for a Prado120 but not for a Cruiser200. Makes perfect sense.

Perhaps I can bend a metal coat hanger and stick it to my Prado’s exhaust, at least i can watch BOB tv while I change my tyre🤷‍♂️

I needed a metal coat hanger when I dropped one of my sensors down a storm water drain at the filling station.

Are you sure you didn’t have a gateway in the Cruiser and then didn’t move it to the Prado.

Gateways Explained:
You need a Gateway to operate CAWE on an I Phone.
Marijuana is a gateway drug to hard core drug use.
The Prado is a gateway SUV to a real Cruiser.
The I Phone is a gateway accessory to coming out the closet...
