I've used both. I don't have Manny's rope, I have something similar. based on personal experience, the rope is better... by a large margin.

Unfortunately have not have the opportunity to use Manny`s rope. But then my recovery gear is there to impress my friends :lol:
You will never find me without Stroh or a 4x4 :D

From what I have read the rope stretches more and also recovers quicker after a heavy stretch.

The kinetic rope works well, as you learned at Carnage. It can be used for a gentle pull and increases the amount of tension without a jarring motion that a pull strap would apply.
And can also be used to recover a well stuck vehicle.

Martin, at RTH we used straps not Ropes and one snapped and shattered my number plate....
