Zuckerfucker & FakeBook

#1

Post by Mad Manny »

Before you scream blue murder as the Thread title doesn't appear to be 4x4/Offroad/Outdoors/Overland related & you fear we are going down the same sh!tslope as lesser Forums, relax, read on.

The 4x4 Action Group has a Facebook Group page.
It has about 4500 members.

The whole reason (the sole reason) we started the page was so that page could feed people here - to the Forum.
The Forum would, in turn, hopefully, feed people to the Club.

Unfortunately this hasn't really happened.

Firstly, people scrolling through the self indulgent or self serving/self indulging Fakebook posts are reluctant, according to studies, to leave that mindless drivel & enter a related site.

However, on occasions where I did post links to Threads here, I did notice an uptick in 'Visitors Online' - briefly.
They click the link, read it, then retreat back to laalaa land.

The punting of the 'Carnage Canyon' Thread with links, was the most successful, with two guys showing interest.

But two things happend recently to further cause me to rethink the value of a Fakebook page.
Two things in addition to the low incidence of Fakebookers joining the Forum, that is...

The first of the two incidents was when Mark Zuckerfucker & his Gaystapo sent me a warning when I posted a link to our Forum.
The gist of the warning was that I should not promote our Forum on his platform.
It was basically a "Thou shalt have no other God's before me...!" type of threat.

That cultural sodomite wants to maintain his hegemony over social media.

The second was two separate incidents:
Shortly after the "no other Gods before me" incident, Beyers posted a pic of a shipping container with two massive rocks (boulders) inside.
The caption below claimed that it was supposed to contain a Prado & the recipient had been scammed.
The story is apparently fake & the Gaystapo sent me a warning which basically said;
"Thou shalt control your minions or we, the UnterFuhrers of Felching, shall move your feed down the priority list"
"We have warned you thusly.".

The 2nd was today, one of our FB Group page members posted a pic or video of the damage a towball snatch had done to someone.
This greatly upset the Zuckerfucker Gaystapo and the post was removed.
I was again issued with a warning.
Their decision, this time, was not reviewable.

What I have noticed that, since the "No other God's before me" incident, we have had virtually NO new members join our 4x4AG Group Fakebook page.

We will dote on this, but it is my view that 4x4 Ag should completely withdraw from Fakebook.
As should every right-thinking individual - but that's up to you...
It offers us, as a club. nothing.

Your views ?

Bin it! While I will admit to reading a lot of crap on
fb - I don't like being dictated to....

If it doesn't feed the forum - dump it.

We all know people with 4x4's not on this forum.

We'd probably do better sending them pics/links after club activities than what we get from fb.

Do you think that, amidst that vast mass of our Facebook members, there are those that are anonymous agitators and disruptors, moles , whistleblowing complainants on things they do not agree with ?
… perhaps a mission for John le Carres George Smiley ?

Nuke the effing thing, it’s a pain in the ass for the moderators because there are so many idiots that join and answer the third question “Do you agree to no advertising” and the first thing the idiots post is an advert, go figure Image

i used to be on FB
… as a spectator more than as a participant,
I had no friends … , at all , not even the wife.
No access to my contacts
no ‘ preferred ’ ads or content etc etc
… closed young Zuckers out on all options
else just sterile nominations.

… but it did give me access to a handful of groups
that I enjoyed … and I still miss that/those,

… but the imposition on privacy was relentless
& unacceptable & current subservience would still be too .

So I dropped out.

Thats all folks.

I heard Zuckerboy apologized to Manny last night after he spammed Zucker's inbox with pics of your welding efforts.
