So in 30 min I'll be leaving the office and by 12:00 we'll be on the road!

Those of you who still need to keep your noses to the grindstone -enjoy!

Those travelling - be safe!

I'll take a pic here and there and post it here.

Enjoy the crowds. We took our annual leave last month. No crowds, no traffic.

Right so we are back!

Must say nearly 10 days without cell reception was sublime!!!

Ok , some useless info fwiw:

1. First stop - Gariep - 1 night self catering.
2. From Gariep to Makkedaat Caves - 2 nights in the old farm house.
3. Camped one night at Rooihoek - Baviaans.
4. Camped 4 nights at Innikloof.
5. Left Innikloof and slept over at Nieu Bethesda.
6. Last stop Gariep again and then home.

While on this trip we did 18 passes:

Baviaans has 7 passes which are:
1.Langkop pass
2.Combrinks Pass
3.Holgat Pass
4. Grasnek Pass
5.Nuwekloof Pass
6.Grootrivier poort
7. Studtis Poort.

Then there were other passes done on the way up/down:

8 Hankey Pass
9. Carlton Heights Pass
10. Lootsberg pass
11. Witnek Pass (Nieu Bethesda)
12. Rubidge Kloof pass ( Nieu Bethesda)
13. Paardekloof Pass
14. Goliatskraal se hoogte
15. Perrieshoogte
16. Ravels Kloof pass
17. Cockscomb pass
18. Beveraas kloof pass???

Not sure if we did Van Stadens pass or not.....

We also did the 4x4 trail at the Makkedaat caves.
