Rotrax Kit Car

Post by icemanza »

So as I am moving to PE in December and being broke as a tea cup that fell off Carton Centre I decided to have a look around a cheap vehicles you wouldn't normally drive in Jozi. As the inlaws are in St Francis and we would most likely spend a few weekends and holidays there I thought one could even get a beach buggy as I could use it to pop to the office on occasion and tow it to St Francis behind the Kia weekends and holidays. Nice toy for beach trips. Then I came across the Rotrax. And I thought if I could get a R100k loan this would be an awesome run around. There was also a Dakar 4x4 version. I could always get an old D2 chassis later and swop bodies. Has any one had any and do you have any advice? Seems simple enough that even I could rebuild the Ford motor if needed. The yellow one is for sale.ImageImageImage

If you are so broke, why are you trying to get a loan to buy a silly toy? If I were you I would put the monthly payment into an investment for your kid’s future education needs. That’s my advice.

And with the rest of your monthly earnings buy this:

Don't listen to Kurt.
Whenever I've been flat broke I've always gone and taken a large loan to buy a frivolous toy.
That way I have something to sell when I'm even flatter broke.

Kurt doesn't understand 'Rolling Deepening Debt Finance' - he's such a Banker...

Besides, R100k is not a lot to spend on a pointless limited use toy...
