The Wrangler 392

Post by Apocalypse »

I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed.

grips! are you still alive? SPEAK TO ME!!!

It's a full blown WRANGLER Rubicon with a 6,4l HEMI, 470hp, 0-100 in 4,5 secs , permanent 4WD (centre diff) on selection, 3 diff locks, disconnecting roll bar , double live axles. low range and everything you ever dreamed of - all with a warranty. ready to accept 35s and the rims are bead lock ready for them.

To put it in perspective, A Range Rover Sport SVR makes 0-100 in 4,5 secs (the 'normal' RR sport is over 5 seconds) , has no offroad capability. An Aston DBX does 4,8 seconds, and has no offroad capability. An AMG G63 does 4,5 seconds and has pansy front suspension these days. The VW lot - Urus, Bent n Gay, Cayenne Turbo S etc will all beat the 4,5 seconds, but lack things like low range, off road ability or anything else.

It's quite a package. Everything I've listed above will set you back well over 3 bar before extras - and sure, they are rather nice and sumptuous.

The 392 is 50% more than a Pentastar Rubicon in the states - US$75 000 against US$ 50 000 . In SA a 4door Rubicon is under a million, so if we do get it here it should be around 1,5 bar.

It's a just a heap of insanity for that kind of money.

How much does a kidney go for these days?

Read about it a while ago.

Should be named Widow Maker

That thing will be insane to drive.

Can just imagine how it will feel like.

There is no Dune in South Africa that is high enough to stop it.

Let me know when yours is delivered.
Then I can beg a ride as passenger
