Mine were a few years ago. Camping at the West Coast. During daytime I attached the window flaps on the passenger side of the Cruiser.
Keep telling everyone to check that we undo them before we use the Cruiser.
Taking the kids for a fishing trip I hop in and pulled off, ripping off the flap

I once forgot to drop the trailer legs.
That night, when my wife and I got into the TTT, the trailer almost tipped.
And no. I am not THAT fat.

Another one, not necessarily about camping, but last year our family went to Mile 14 campsite for lunch
My 3 year old boy tells me he wants to pee so i told my eldest (5 years old) to take him to the bathroom.
The restaurant area was jam-packed.
Next I notice people starting to laugh and point at the play area.
My boy climbed up slide, stood on top, and peed down the slide - all in full view of everyone (and on top op some parents' children).
He just told me: "Pappa, ek wou hoog piepie".

We were preparing to do a Kgalagadi Game Reserve trip and 4 weeks in Nam. Trip is on for September 2018.
We did not take the extension tent with. On a caravan I had seen fellow Jurgens Xplorer owners store their tent poles in the canvas cover which holds the tent.
I stick mine in there instead of the after fitment pipe fitted to the outside rear of the caravan.
We had a most glorious Nam trip.
Jan 2019 we have a week getaway to Matamba Bush Camp. After setting the van up I proceed to do the tent. I go to the after fitment pipe and discover no tent poles.
My moer strips good and solid. These damn thieves in Namibia! Was it in Luderitz? Was it in Swakop? Was it in Windhoek? I posted my displeasure on FB and 4x4 Com Forum.
When I cooled down I then proceed to unzip the canvas cover where the tent is, and a few tent poles start to fall out.....

Henri, it seems you and tent poles are not friends. I still have a vague recollection of volunteering to assist you with setting up at Tava Lingwe. I never realised that you needed a hacksaw to put up the awning on a Jurgens Explorer. Put me off for life.

I have a suspicion you might need a welding machine next time you put that awning up again.

I've camped with Kurt a few times.
Every time he sets up or packs up he puts on his pig skin gloves.
Forking Embarrassing!!!

He has dainty soft hands.
I asked if he wears the gloves to protect them.
He said "Not at all, I just like putting my hand in something that smells like a pig"...
