Unisex Training Day Discussion Thread

#1

Post by Mad Manny »

Chatting to Anton Bodenstein over the weekend. We had TWO events on Saturday the 27th.
He hosted a group at In the Gorge & I was at the Ladies Day attended by his wife.

Anton came up with what I think is a brilliant idea.

We host a Training day to cover two important topics:

I. Spotting:
How to spot. Hand signals. What info to give. Whereto hold yourhands. Visibility. Communication. Etc.
Theory & practical.

Reversing:
Basics of reversing. Tips. Reversing up an incline. Using Low Range.
Theory & practical using both a small Venter & an off-road trailer

Who?: This should be for male & female Club members& non Members as well as spouses.

Who would be seriously interested in such a day?

Would last from 09:00 to about 14:00...

I have 4 issues with this idea:

1) I used to own a 4x4
2) I used to own an off-road trailer
3) I used to own a Venter trailer
4) I currently live 9800km from Joburg.

Other than those minor issues, I’m in
Flex is overrated
