Koranna Getaway 4x4

#1

Post by Mad Manny »

I've been scouring the length & breadth of this great country in search of new challenges.
I'm on 80 points i.t.o. the UTM and so would prefer new adventures rather going to the same old, same old.

I found Koranna Getway4x4 near Clocolan in the Easter Free State.

Here's the link: http://www.korannagetaway.com/

They have two routes; 22km & 14km
Accommodation: Chalets, camping & bushg camping.
Costs are reasonable.
Its about 300km from JHB & PTA

Does anyone know the place?
Has anyone been recently?
Anyone keen on going - it will have to be a weekend.

Hi there Manny

Yes I would love to go. 3 hrs not to bad to travel.
The foto's on the website looks great.

I think doing it before winter would be a bonus.

April 9 to 12 I am going to Kalahari. Just saying......
When in doubt.... Gas it

We need along weekend for this trip.

The first one of 2020 is 10 - 13April (Easter) - I have mailed them regarding this weekend

The next one is late April - we have the NKZN Trip then.

The following one is June - it will be too cold.

Then in August Mon 10 is a holiday but we have Baboons & River Trip then

Then it's the long weekend of 24 September (if you take25 September off) - we dont have anything booked, but we did mention 3 Provinces.

So its either 10 - 13 April or the long weekend in late September.

I sent another mail to Koranna Getaway.
