Ive decided to carry a simple shower set-up ...
Large-throated Steel jerry-can with submersible pump on 5m length of pipe with shower rose at other end.
Jerry is filled with water and placed side-on next to fire ... not on coals or in flame just to expose it to heating glare for hour or two .

Now who knows where to buy big-throated Jerry cans ?
(... no Linda Lovelace jokes etc please ...)
... Famous Fiver VoorLoper ...
... Veni Vidi Vici ...

You have it wrong Chaz.

Deep throat not Big throat hahaha.

Sorry that's all I can come up with.

However as an alternate I have seen a mod on that other forum where the jerry can is pressurize with a compressor and forces liquid out. The mod is done to the detachable spout.

In this case the toppie did not fancy holding the jerry can whilst transferring diesel.

Simple mod.

Cheers
