Taking the Amarok on a quick spin into Lesotho.

I am going to RAMPAI village in the back of beyond in Lesotho on Sunday.

It is just enough of a challenge to make me excited.

I have taken the Evoque there so the plat bakkie should make it.

The scary thing about rough camping for me is I don't have an inverter so my sleep apnea machine is redundant.

Can't wait to tackle those mountains with the V6.

I am not towing this time, I am actually dissapointed about that!

Just got back from Rampai in Lesotho.

I have quite a fun stuck story to tell of Rocky being stuck in the sand in the river.

150km Oliphants River trip,
250 total from Makopane ...
dusting-off the old furniture
... been warned of deep water crossings

... back today ... travelled East by tar from Makopane to near Chuniespoort then down to Oliphants Riverbed and along long stretches of it
as far as near Burgersfort.
Very challenging in parts , lot of bogged down vehicles, winching, kinetic recoveries etc etc
