Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2-Door 10th Anniversary Automatic

#1

Post by HeinrichC »

I am looking at buying a Jeep Wrangler 3.6 Rubicon 2-Door Limited 10th Anniversary 5 speed Automatic but I am not sure of some of the specs for the South African versions of this model.

I hope someone can help me confirm;

1. Is the low range ratio 2:72 or 4:11
2. Is the tank 80 liters or 85 liters
3. Was the SA versions also slightly lifted ie about one inch as stock.

Hope the Jeep experts or someone that has this model can help me out.

Thanks

All Rubicons have the 4.11 reduction, the Sahara has the 2.72.

5L difference in tank size wouldn’t sway the decision for me.

Thank you. I agree on the 5 liters but is it an 80 liter or 70 liter tank

But you asked if it is 80Lt or 85Lt, not sure where the 70Lt suddenly comes from.

Heinrich, if you have the VIN and access to the site, all the info you want should be available there

33s and a 2" lift are perfect for a 2 door. you won't notice it on the fuel consumption.

toss the enormous back silencer and fit a widdle one to make more vrooming noises!

my JKU on 35s and 3" lift will do 12l/100km on the open road.

if I drive nicely.

I did it for ages once . well it felt like ages. probably a whole 15 minutes....
