Thanks Manny , Guys this is the very first trip to the now famous carnage canyon . If you have viewed any photos of trips since you will notice how it changes year on year . Last year we could not cross where we weld repaired Sakkies Granny . All the sand was washed out around those rocks . If you have a very capable vehicle and big CAHOONAS , Its a trip worth doing , If not tag along and watch , also a awesome experience.

Ron Hairbottle of Traction4x4 (a member here) runs the Carnage Canyon trips.
I PM'd him weeks ago about a Carnage Canyon Trip AND I sent him an e-mail - he has ignored both.

I'll give Ron one last chance to reply, if he continues to ignore us, we can then organise a trip without him...

Manny when would the guys like to go?I have been their many times , Know it well and can help to arrange a weekend trip. Two options
1, Depart Friday afternoon for Pietersburg , sleep over at Sundowner Lodge and drive the 50 odd ks on saturday morning to CARNAGE CANYON
2, Very early start on saturday morning ( did it ) and drive to Potgietersrus , then turn of to Carnage canyon . This makes it a very long day .

For carnage you need to have at least 33s and a lift on your vehicle , diff lock is a must have . I can take you guys , but cant guarantee you to reach the beach , Dead dog gorge very possible in 1 day , then home again on sunday .
