Crowds are the issue these days.

Back then you didn't have hoards of people chasing the white before it disappeared off the land.

But now it's common....

Thanks 4G and Flip, that’s exactly the idea. A quick and memorable trip. Looking forward to it

To add on what Manny wrote, snow is over-rated.

Spend a few weeks of Winter in east Germany and you will be cured of that itch, trust me.

Ricoffy, I already have a trailer (two in fact) but what I do need is a 4x4.

Mine is unfortunately at the panelbeater getting the road to hell damage removed from the left hand side... the joys of waiting for Mitsubishi parts to arrive from Japan (or the moon?)

Last minute decision we decided to go to Afriski on Friday. Was very cold and snow on slope was a bit disappointing. We cut our weekend visit short as my back side shaft seal started leaking. I was a bit worried as I did not notify Tuff Stuff we're going across border but we made it back. I'm still convinced that it snows in Lesotho the 2nd week in August , so lets see. :)

Apparently a serious amount of snow coming down this week.
Up to 45 cm expected.
