We did something similar a few years ago, and the thing we battled the most was punchers on the gravel roads
Take some (or a lot) of puncher repair kits, you might need them

What tyre pressures were the guys running on the vehicles that had the problems?
As a "newbe" to this game I'm genuinely interested in how to maximise the fun and minimise the damage factor.

Don't stress Paul.
Most of the tyre's were old HT's, and Walter just had bad luck.

For the slow passes you can probably drop to 1.6bar but then you can’t exceed about 60km/h, you can suss it out when you are there depending on the rockiness of the roads. 1.8bar is safe for all conditions including tar
