I'm sorry, but I just don't enjoy his presentation style. It's painful. Repetitive. Dour. Humourless. Dry. Did I say repetitive? if not, it's repetitive.

He starts with "Not long ago, a few days ago in fact..." - repetitive.
"I responded... I was responding to a you tube comment, a youtuber.... that was commenting ..." - repetitive

Can't he just say "I recently replied to a comment on You Tube regarding Narrow Tyres versus Fatter tyres..." ?

He’s an annoying little prick because Saffers & SA television wouldn’t give him another show in order to fund his holidays. So he buggered off to the UK. I suspect they found him even more boring than us.

Now he’s in Aus shaking everyone down over there. Poor buggers.

Personally I’d like to see him doing some overlanding & camping in Iraq or Afghanistan

No. Not at all. I watch his videos because sometimes I’ve got a few minutes to kill.

As for this video, I purposely posted it for guys to have a laugh at the nonsense he spoke about.

That tells me more about honestly of Dyno graphs that it does about the effect of tyres...

If this was a Dyno done on the Wheels (as implied) and if there were no calibration changes made (so, as implied) then the readings will be different.

If there are extenuating issues not mentiondv- then you are posting on the wrong Forum.Image

Seems the always correct Manny needs to be slapped (and I quote here) 'like an awkward ginger stepchild' . probably a bit harder actually as he's a Hairy Porra.

he can be such a mastubator*** sometimes .

Changing tyre size cannot affect torque or power at the flywheel (or at the output shaft, in this case the axle flange, in a given gear)

that is constant.

the Radius of the tyre only affects the FORCE that can by applied to the road - Torque at wheel in N.m (or ft.lb) / Radius of wheel in metres (or feet if using imperial)

A tyre might also have more drag vs another tyre depending on tread, compound and pressure

but the dyno measures that on overrun and adds it back to the engine or output shaft figure.

So yes, theoretically , you should get the same torque and power readings no matter what size tyre is fitted.

*** Manny says I can't say wanker on the forum.
