Patrols NEED long range tanks to make it to the next fuel stationHedgehog wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 6:37 amInteresting thread.
I tried to think of something (the thread is about 4x4 modifications and a Raptor kits and decals are not a 4x4 mods...) and I have come to the conclusion that it depends on what vehicle..
For instance: As said before, a offroad bumper and a snorkel on an Amarokor a "long range tank" on a Patrol...
Or a bash plate on a Landy...![]()
Have to disagree. And that from somebody that has actually ended up nipple deep in a pond, and lost a engine. Snorkel would have saved the day.
Designed and built myself, and tested periodically, as well as when air filter gets checked every 10K km.icemanza wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2019 10:20 amAssuming the snorkel that was fitted was sealed and designed for water use and not like 90% of them out there that are only for dust...biggest mistake people make is getting a snorkel fitted thinking it means they can now submerge the car without proper sealing.
