That Amarok is photoshopped into the picture. No one drives with a window open through mud at speed

Therein lies the irony. That Renault has one.

In Afrikaans we have a saying "Al dra 'n aap 'n goue ring (engine cover?), hy bly maar steeds 'n lelike ding!!!" :D

The Renault remains FUGLY and no engine cover can change the fact! So ugly, in fact, that it is a serious contender for the title in the thread about the ugliest vehicle elsewhere on the forum !!

Thys. I always know when I’m in the lead in a debate.......It’s when one of the antagonists elects to attack whatever brand I drive, instead of the context of what I said.

The obvious way too retaliate is with a photo of an ugly VW, but there’s just too much subject matter to choose from.

......but don’t tell anybody

Neil, there are FUGLY vehicles from every manufacturer you can think of - granted.

If an engine needs a cover to make it presentable, it is just bad design of the ancillary layout that needs to be hidden. Very much like a garden service bakkie that cannot drive off-road without a diff lock or a platkar that falls off the road because it does not have all the acronyms ............ :D

Sarcasm is the lowest form of witt! I’m obviously still aiming too high! 🤣

Neil, brace yourself, there is a video going around, I suspect it will be viral soon of a melktrok that hands an RS its backside on a dragstrip, I’m too unfazed to look for a link right now! I know, the melktrok is not in the same class and it’s purpose is somewhat ill defined🤷‍♂️

And as far as attacking the brand, one question, who started, with direct references to both brands? (OP refers)

But as a good friend of mine once remarked, “never take a battle of witt to an unarmed person”

Yebbut it’s still a recognized form of wit, which is spelled with one ‘t’.

Did you see what I did there? Image

The RS can’t be much good because a 90’s Defender can do out drag an Amarok.

Yebbut it’s my brand bashing thread. Go start your own! Image

If you do, I’d be happy to address the context.
