I only use Tapatalk when accessing The Other Forum from my phone but it's actually a pain. There are functions that don't work, like the private messages, where then change over to using a browser on the phone. I wouldn't miss it if Tapatalk disappeared completely.

Hmmm, I almost exclusively use Tapatalk Pro. I agree, the free version is horrible.
Mainly my reasoning is that I’m on many forums. MyBB, SAGamer, Pajero, Gunsite, CloudyNights, Patrol, 4x4Comm, MacRumers, brewing and distilling forums, various Linux and FreeBSD forums… to name a few.
Just so much easier with them all in one place.
For some reason the private messaging doesn’t work on 4x4Comm, but on the other forums it does, so it’s not a Tapatalk issue at all.
There are two forums I use thats not available on Tapatalk. Carbonite & Wilddog, which I maybe log into 2 or 4 times per year, because they're not working on Tapatalk..
I travel a lot, and spend many hours in transit, so browsing forums from my iPad with Tapatalk Pro just works easy for me…
