I refuse to be POLITICALLY CORRECT to impress others - Deal with it
FLEX is UNDERRATED
FLEX is UNDERRATED
Coils are easier to get big flex for sure but that comes with added complexity to how the axels are located.david bfreesani wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 6:16 pmAs I said in the other thread, I feel coils will do better.
Leaf springs can be made to flex quite well while maintaining a simple suspension system.

I have been finding it more difficult to get leafs set up properly. Lack of adjustability, and mine is turning out to "hard" in the front by the time I found something that could carry the weight.Wooky wrote:Coils are easier to get big flex for sure but that comes with added complexity to how the axels are located.

I am looking for a pic taken a Donkerpoort where the Ranger flexed touching the top of its mud guard.
But this very old pic needs to do for now.

Grips, is that a military wrap spring pack? I find my ends bind up bad. Causes the me to have very arriculation. But the spring inverts under compression which looks suspect.
