Based on Chas, Martin, LesseW & Buggers posts, amongst others, I should rename this Thread;
"Show Your Vehicle's Lack of Flex"...
"Show Your Vehicle's Lack of Flex"...
"No one ever got stuck - in mid air!"

Ironically , Wessel charging at speed through such crossaxling ‘Eggbox’ stretches seems bound to keep 3 wheels in traction nearly all the time ,
… though not sure when he has/will bend and/or break
expensive stuff … will be interesting ...

The (Stadard) Flex Champ already cited via posts #86 & 89.
( ie not a customised ‘Circus Clown Car’ … )
… probly as much flex with rear wheel/axle up.

As far as I know, 15” wheel is standard, so ground clearance not good, though, with some wheel-arch modification etc, think one can increase wheel-size to 17 or 18”.
But increasing body clearance via wheels and/or Lifts, can make them even worse rollers!
I recall a few years ago Jacko Jeep looking into a hybrid, putting Cherokee body and motor etc onto RR Classic chassis / suspension.

Don't know why I did that post in Afrikaans, sorry. BUT what I mean to say was.... GU Patrol, some Cruisers, and Hi Lift Hiluxes use the same G56174 shocks on the rear with 246mm range. There is not much longer besides custom or Fleetrider series shocks.
I am playing with the idea to try out the Gabriel 76104 shock with 909mm ext, 534mm compressed giving me 375mm range. But this shock is for the Merc L113 busses and trucks. In the rear I can get a good angle on the shock to increase the leverage on it and make it softer, but in the front I don't have the space, but could maybe rely on the 1.2 ton to weigh it down and make it softer.

so I put ref in # 89 … to support my argument
… see the RRC value at bottom right of the RTI table.
Can also say, in mine at work, I once cut the ramp corner a little sharp at work, and later found & measured, the back left wheel climbed a 75cm pedestrian wall without hesitating … but I did feel it and look back !
RRCs travel soft upon the turf with great suspension
and ground clearance is not great but they have
Huge flex … via front and back axle configuration.
( same as pre-Defender ‘ LandRover 110s ‘ … )
… but as I say in #89 :
“ ... we should make the rule:
Goose Neck test
then do a
Ramp Flex test
with no adjustments /modifications ... “
