Booyzynkraal Bush Camp, between Witbank & Loskopdam, Mpumalanga.

River Camp - max 4 vehicles are booked, if you are 4 vehicles in your group, you'll have the enitre camp to yourself. Ideal for larger groups/clubs as well.

Mountain camps - 5 campsites, you won't see or hear your neighbour. 2 of these have a shower and toilet, the other 3 are proper wild camps with no facilities.

4x4 vehicles only. 2 of the mountain camps are in accessible with trailers.

... sort of Bush camps we liked when our kids
were small didnt always really suit them as far as safety,
activities & amusements etc ... travel-time in car
can also be excessive for them .
If you target camps near to waterfalls where family can
swim ( eg Magoebaskloof area ), canoeing venues
and near sea etc ... can be winners ...
... Famous Fiver VoorLoper ...
... Veni Vidi Vici ...

Chas, just post the sites if you feel it's family friendly. would be nice if you can mention the dangers of each site though.

Purely judging by the noise created, Zilonde Bush Camp must be a children's camping haven. Intermittent electricity, minimal water, hot or cold, no playground, no pool, no nannies, no supervision, no kids club. Surprisingly there were only 4 kids!!!

I had a great time. The sound of kids playing and having fun is never an issue for me.

Glad to hear, we now have a Danny (Nanny) to look after our kids when we visit these sites.
