... sort of Bush camps we liked when our kids
were small didnt always really suit them as far as safety,
activities & amusements etc ... travel-time in car
can also be excessive for them .
If you target camps near to waterfalls where family can
swim ( eg Magoebaskloof area ), canoeing venues
and near sea etc ... can be winners ...

Chas, just post the sites if you feel it's family friendly. would be nice if you can mention the dangers of each site though.

Purely judging by the noise created, Zilonde Bush Camp must be a children's camping haven. Intermittent electricity, minimal water, hot or cold, no playground, no pool, no nannies, no supervision, no kids club. Surprisingly there were only 4 kids!!!

Glad to hear, we now have a Danny (Nanny) to look after our kids when we visit these sites.AndreasR wrote:I had a great time. The sound of kids playing and having fun is never an issue for me.

Ek spot sommer Leon. Lekker om te weet dat baie mense van die club nie omgee as kinders hulleself is nie.
