Thanks Henri.
This is the kind of thing I was looking for:
SABS tested: (IP 154 & IP 135)
ASTM tested: ASTM D663 & D130; ASTM D4172
INTERTEK AUTOMOTIVE LABORATORIES: ASTM D4172
This may have the stuff an old friend gave me to try in my Ford (built by Ford for racing)

Time to enlighten you all to where we are at, at the moment.
We have revised the labels and packaging. Extended the range as well. We will also supply in 1,000l packs and even be shipping in 23,000l bladders.
Plenty more to come. So hold onto your hats.
Pappie gaan nou jaag.
Tomorrow morning I will change all these pdf's to jpeg's

Henris,
How good would uniglide be in preventing engine wear / damage caused by momentary oil pressure loss?
My offroad toy has a slight oil pressure issue with very steep climbs. Short climbs are no problem but extended steep angles brings on the oil light. I will be modifying the sump and oil pickup but was wondering if this would be a useful "insurance" policy.
Cheers

Extremely good.
It creates a thin layer/barrier. Then when the oil is not there, this microscopic layer is you lubrication.
It is also used in extreme temps where the oil pressure takes time to build. So in stead of going extremely thin, use the Uniglide to "buy time" until the oil pressure is up. Often about 15sec.

Ok gents. Here is some info for the more tech orientated guys. Also some testimonials.
We also find that people are using the Uniglide FRC in more and more applications not just in engines.
Plenty engineering applications as well.

Just another update.
The whole blending has been moved to an ISO9001 facility. So the product is now totally predictable. Not deviating from the spec. (We had some tolerance issues.)
I have enough stock on FRC at the moment, but it is def getting momentum. The Multi Spray we had a big batch in the courier truck and it had an accident. Got back about 60%, so not a total loss.
Next is the Multy Spray that is charged with R134A. Yes, refrigeration gas. Environmentally friendly and totally inert. So the electricians can use it in the live switch-gear. Can use it in an mining environment. Underground as well.
Just waiting for the MSDS and then we will officially launch the product. But we will have a whole range of R134A charged products.
Watch this space. Things are starting to move in the right direction.

I'd love to know why you say this Chris?
I cannot comment on the Uniglide products, I have had no experience with them, but having our own range or automotive fuel and oil additives I'm really interested as to why someone would say something like this? Would you say the same if I posted the NF range of products on this platform?
If I recall Uniglide products have been around for many years, if it really was a "snake oil" would it still be available today?
Looking forward to your feedback

You are 100% correct. The marketing has just been badly neglected. Thus we have re-branded and giving a re-launch.Wave wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 8:15 amI'd love to know why you say this Chris?
