Grips, there was a follow up episode of Q&A posted where they answered your exact question about bush welding.
They said they didn’t take welding rods along this time and said they know how to do a bush weld but sometimes they don’t take everything along with them.
I suspect because the trail is quite short that they assumed that if there was a breakage they could easily get out, but this breakage happened on quite a difficult section of the track.
Whatever the reason / excuse, they still had an epic time out there loving what they do

Thanks Kurt that makes sense. I do enjoy watching their video`s. I would love to do a trip like that but with a 4x4 that does not belong to me
You will never find me without Stroh or a 4x4

So the Winch Users changed their channel from 4WD Action Australia to 4WD 24/7.
Dumb move in my view.
Should we change the club name to the 4x4 24/7 Group ?

This episode proves how useless IFS vehicles are in serious off-roading situations. More specifically, how the older Patrol kicks the massive 200’s ass, like a ginger stepchild (to quote a notorious madman).

4WD 24/7 uploaded their latest episode this morning.
It had over 10 000 views in under24 hours!
The Episode was shot under Lock Down in Arsetrailia - so Graham Cahil was going up the West Coast while Shauno & Jock & the Maori/Japanese looking guy, Kaeno/Kayno (I think) did Coff's Harbour (or Cosava the way they pronounce it).
What interesting of this episode is:
* It shows how polished the production is.
* It gave the Contrast between Grahams trip & Shauno's trip.
* Jock & Kaeno show up how poor a driver Shauno is.
Jock & Kaeno out-drove Shauno despite he having a front locked SFA vs their older Hiluxes.
Watch it - it's good...

Jock’s old Hilux is an SFA conversion with crawler gears and tricked out suspension, but yes, he’s definitely the better driver of the lot.
I found this online yesterday, it amazes me how fame and popularity always turns even the most humble blokes into assholes (or at least the accountants that run the show behind the scenes).
All this little snotkop was trying to do was show how popular 4x4’ing is by showing snippets of 4x4 24/7 episodes of the past...

PS - it’s Kaito

I saw it too.
So the guy (Aussie Arvos) was doing a program on why 4x4's and 4x4'ing has become so popular in Oz over the past 5 years.
In it he credited 4WD Action/4WD 24/7 as being one of the reasons.
The producers got all "Trade mark/intellectual property" on him.
They (4WD Action or 24/7) are getting too big and greedy for their own good...

I see Graham Cahill has a fully kitted 2021 D-Max, his first was Maroon, his 2nd was Grey, this new one is White.
Be interesting to see his impressions - obviously he will be biased as it is sponsored. But we'll see past that.
