Technical 12 V question. I’m running a Enertec 100ah deep cycle, with a Intervolt EBI pro solenoid and running a 6 gauge wire kit direct from the battery ( connected positive and negative )
Now my question, my snow master 42L fridge pulls the battery down that it disconnects at 11V’s between stops when the car is not running. This Is in a 12 hour cycle and the car runs for about 5 to 6 or so hours. I sometimes fit a voltage booster which keeps the volts up to 14,5v
The fridge was pre cooled and opened about 3 times. The fridge is on low power mode and runs almost constantly. Temp is set at 0 degrees.
Is this correct and should I look at changing something? It seems the fridge is rather consuming a lot more than what it should.
Let me know what you guys think...

Gareth start out with checking the battery and the fridge performance separately.
The fridge power draw off is not mentioned. There should be a name plate somewhere giving either watts or amps.
You need to calculate the amps draw off - given tgat Voltage is 12v by the formula Power = Volts x Amps.
Have the battery performance load test checked by a specialist to see if it is 100%
Using the amps calculated for the fridge performance you divide that into the 100AH battery rating and that will give you the amount of hours the fridge will run under full load.
Finally have the fridge checked out for gas leaks.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Adding to that, also try charging the deep cycle fully, but separately using an intelligent charger, this can take up to 18 hours to actually show fully charged, it is possible that your charging setup is not getting the deep cycle full, there is another thread here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=889 where batteries are discussed along with chargers.

Check you fridge also to see if it is not in emergency mode setting where it cools to max and runs all the time.
I remember when Manny bought his snowmaster to a GtG it was running down to -18 even if you set it to 2 degrees.

I do not know how long you pre-cooled. Have found in the past that without proper pre-cooling/ freezing you run down batteries in no time.
The fridge can run for a few hours to get everything to the desired temp.
