With the change of rules the last time I checked I were at 88. Still need to add trips like Road to Hell. But all off a sudden for some unknown reason I have lost appetite for chasing 100. I know it will come maybe before I am 70

Still 4x4 ing since 1986

Is there a list of recognized trails and passes? I know I have not done much, but would like to see what is available.

There is no list. But any trail or pass that requires a 4x4 and is open to all (or was open to all when you did it) will be considered.

Obviously a platkar pass like Van Reenens doesnt qualify.

Also, a private trial/road on your Oom se Plaas not open to the public doesnt qualify...

Finally, (and this is where Grips and I are arguing) it must be a leisure trip.
So if you drove very difficult trails as an employee of Telkom putting in telephone lines with a Telkom Cruiser as part of your job - that doesnt count...

Yes Martin, you've closed the gap with Source Tree Lodge and John Rock.

On my current Cape trip, I am planning a few new venues or routes. Yesterday we drove Honingklip 4*4 near Botrivier, what a stunning venue, from proper sand, deep erotion drop off's , water , everything nature will throw at you. We then continued to climbed the mountain , gone as high as 500 meter above sea . Graded level from 3-5!
Adding to my list now standing at 88 in total.
