Unfortunately it's the 250kw version, but still a better alternative to normal Lexus options.
Reason for the change is that if I lived close to the dunes the 2jz would've worked but here in Limpopo there is just plain mountains and lots of crawling. Even if I replaced the gear ratios in the diffs and Tcase it would still be a compromise.
Plus the the added bonus of having a "Powered By Nissan" sticker on a cruiser....

If I'm lucky I can to work on it maybe 3 hours every 3 weeks due to work and other responsibilities.

Off to the engine installer, while he is busy with that I'll be overhauling the diffs and a few other stuff.

Some progress over the last week, 2jz with it's wiring is out and prepping for the v8 has begun.
The vk will be here during the first week in August along with the Dicktator management system.
If all goes well it will be up and running by end Aug but I will only start testing it after the diffs have been overhauled.

Bou jy die adapter 45mm dik sodat jy nog die moontlikheid van crank pick up van oorspronklikke ecu in toekoms kan kan gebruik, of is jy happy met dictator?
As ek mag opinie lig: sit nou die ekstra 10mm by, laat hom die port nou al maak van crank pick up. Wie weet, oor n jaar wil jy dalk Die oorspronklikke ecu run, maar dan kan jy nie, want jou adaptor kan nie pickup lees...

Dankie sal daarna kyk, ongelukkig het die motor nie die oorspronklike ecu by nie en die harnas is ook verwyder so die bouer gaan als oor bedraad.
Die dicktator kan blykbaar als op die motor laat werk insluitend die vvti.
As ek die die oorspronklike ecu saamgekry het sou ek dit gebruik het wel.

Binnekort. Alles word uitgesort. Dan voer hulle die ecu in, decode home hier, kit word saamgesit met loom, paddle en ecu.
Die spitstronic en dictator kan nie n kwart doen wat die fabrieks ecu doen.
Hou net daardie backdoor oop, sou jy in toekoms besluit om oorspronklik te gaan...
Dit kan dalk so 50kw en 2km/l meer vir jou beteken...
