4x4 open event

#1

Post by Martin de Jager »

Good day all,
Who is sick and tired of being in lockdown?
Who is game to go and stretch those 4x4 muscles , we are not allowed to 4x4, but we are allowed to exercise, stretch those sore and tired lims.

I am thinking of going on a one day excursion,
Where: option
1) John Rock, R250.00 per vehicle,
2) The Gorge , cost R200.00 per vehicle, or...
3) Jansens 4x4, Cost R250.00 per vehicle,
all depending on interest.
When:13th June 2020.
Planning: 10 4x4 maximum.

Who can go, all those that want to be set free.

I will update further detail once I see interest from the members.

if you are interested, please indicate 1st and 2nd choice for an event.

I haven't been to John Rock and Jansens 4x4, So I vote for those 2, but the 9th of June might be an issue, I am a July kinda guy.

I have done Jansens 4x4 twice, still remains a favourite, but keen John Rock seems the logical choice.
2011 Toyota Prado 3.0 VX,
2013 Suzuki Jimny, Brutus, (larger than life),
2023 Toyota Starlet xr auto,
2019 Invader Duo.

Jansen is gr8 fun.
Consists of rock /sand /mud in( summer time) not for standard vehicles.
John Rock... Man made obstacles
Gorge.... Technical and need skill but fun track.
But will do Jansen 4x4 again..
When in doubt.... Gas it

I'm interested, haven't done any of these trails so I guess Jansens 4x4 or John Rock as those seem to be the popular choice.
