... Suggest we defer this function out a month or two when, hopefully we’ll have a better perspective of the development and scale of this epidemic here and our country’s (in)capacity (?) to deal with it ...

I also feel the agenda is too much for a single day ... suggest a 2 day weekend function :
Day 1. Essential Off-Roading Topics ie most of existing introductory topics in the current agenda .
Day 2. Other Topics ( eg Trails, Challenges & Competitions , Camping, Overlanding , etc ie more specific & applied )

Existing members , visitors and prospective members could then elect to do Day 1 OR Day {1 & 2.}
... Famous Fiver VoorLoper ...
... Veni Vidi Vici ...

Mark, My apologies for the flippant comment above. As a new member to the forum it I am sure it is not the welcome that you were expecting.

Unfortunately the response to this training day has been poor and in all likelihood will be cancelled. the committee is having a meeting this weekend and will discuss this issue.

Keep an eye on the forum, there will be other outings and training days organised.

Bank details were available not on post but by accessing 4x4 home page.
Perhaps i had finger problems 🤔😁

At the AGM 2 weeks ago I suggested we cancel this event due to low interest.
The mob disagreed, chanting "Give it another chance! Give it another chance!".
So I reluctantly agreed.

This was the attendees list at the time of the AGM:
Attendees Lists:

Presenters:
1. Mad Manny - Presenter Paid
2. AndreasR - Presenter Paid
3. Bugger Paid
4. Ge'Off Paid
5. Flipside Paid
Delegates:
1. Paul25 Paid

This list was BC (Before Coved-19).

NOT ONE more person has booked since the AGM, although a few mooted interest & Smurfie was very keen.

I'm off to the committee meeting shortly to discuss, inte-alia, this event, but I cannot see it progressing.
