Nice report Andrew.
I have heard it is badly washed out.

Well done to the GF on completing HH.
I heard it as worse than before - I supposed the wet conditions helped.

Glad you had fun...w

Nice report. I need to get back there sometime this year.

Sorry we could not join, we were still sorting out our camping gear after being away for a few weeks, and re sealing an old tent (30+ years old)

Very nice report Andrew. I love 3 Provinces even just to camp, but I also get the feeling that it's going a bit South these last couple of years, as if not enough maintenance is being done.

Great report!

I take it this is not a trail to be taken unless there are at least 2 vehicles?

My sons are on a rugby tour in march and we'll be staying in Volksrus. Thought I might give it a go seeing as we would be in the area....

Shane, do it, just skip the whole Waterval piece, don't do Hels Hoogte & do NOT come back via The Tunnel...
You'll be fine.

Hi Shane, did you do 3P yet? Still planning on going?
I'm thinking about it towards end March 2020. Keen to hear how you got on.
Thx

I have not. The idea was for us to do it next Saturday.

However

1. There is a huge fight between SA School's athletics and Athletics SA as to who the real host is for SA's primary schools is, one has their meeting next saturday and the other - from the 25th - 28th. No one seems to know who is, in fact the official organisation.

2. I have a nasty feeling that the rugby tour (the reason we would have been in the area) is going to be cancelled due to the corona outbreak. Word is that as soon as the official number is 100 then all schools will be closed. I have not been able to verify this yet. Seeing that we reached 38 today, we should be on 100 by wednesday at the latest.

So it doesn't look good at the moment.

If you make before me, give us some feedback pls.
