It’s more like a 2-4 in the dry.

Matroosberg has a section to the viewpoint.

Then they also have a circular route higher up which is apparently a 4-5

Could this be sarcasm?

Martin de Jager wrote:hello guys,

quoted that info from https://www.mountainpassessouthafrica.co.za/, Its a must do for me personally, so I will drive it as I see it, safety first. I looked at the video's and it seems to be an awesome trip,
Been up a few times, deep, very deep snow in 2013 and dry later. Really nothing to it. One little obstacle but really not difficult. A very nice drive though, especially in deep snow. Beautiful place and a must at least once.

Mike hi,
my first in the good old Cape will be family time, we set the ride for the 1st or 2nd December, aim then to move down the east coast and work our way back home,
