Thye usually are all the same, same displays etc. But every now and then you find something new.
We will be there.

We are also camping and attending the one in July (26-28) at Sondela.

Naaa. Just read Andreas report back on the Outdoor show at Gallagher Estate and expect the same.

We have one here in September. We went to look see. Lots and lots and lots of caravans and ORT's. Some braai goodies and some 4x4 goodies.

Lunch was good though 😋

Nobody builds bespoke / custom rigs any more. Well, some do, but not many.

Grips hasn't done one in ages. Reenen isn't on this forum, but he's the only guy I know that actually does custom builds.

Unfortunately I run a pub on weekends: what was the last Hekpoort 4x4 like? Buggies and old CJ jeeps?

I usually go , and ‘display ‘ at the LROC section
at this Pretoria Old Motor Club (‘POMC’) event at Zwartkops which is big and well attended and yes there
there are elaborate custom builds …
… often see Bugger there …
this year its on 4th August I think …

I have been to one in Waterfall one year, I think they are very interesting even if they show the same products/manufacturers, etc. you'll always see something different, or differently.
I may pop in to the Zwartkops one... I encourage MAD Manny to go, time to upgrade Gearless to a Proper Rig. :-)

Its 5min from me. I will go and report back.

Heli rides, maybe first time for the youngster...
4x4 track
Para jumpers
Bands
Beer garden

Seems like a fun day out and less like a flea market like it was at Gallagher estates outdoor show.

Think it will be better than when it was at the Voortrekker Monument.

Will go pop in if I have time.
