Post # 70, with some last minute info:
Camping:
It's wild camping.
No braai's, ablutions or taps on site. Nothing.
Meeting point on Friday:
We meet at the meeting point at 15:00 SHARP
Remember it's a long weekend, so expect heavier traffic.
Rubbish:
Everything you take in, you take out.
So bring dustbin bags to carry your refuse in.
Bring cans not bottles.
You may see litter in the river dumped upstream by the locals - but we don't do that.
Footwear:
You are, all day, in a river, you footwear will get wet.
Bring dry socks & shoes for nightime around the braai.
Water:
Bring plenty drinking water.
Bring water for washing & cleaning.
The rule is 10L/ppd.
Showers:
Bring a means to wash/shower.
Lighting:
If you want to see at night - bring a light.
Rules & Regulations:
The normal 4x4 Code & Commandments will apply.
Off Course 4x4 also has requirements wrt their filming.
No swearing, no drinking, etc.
Wood:
Please bring 2 or 3 bags of wood peer vehicle.
Braai's & Cooking:
Please bring a braai grid &, if you have, a portable braai.
Ablutions:
There will be a 'space shuttle' toilet on site (like we had at Barberton).
Please remember your toilet paper!
