Chas, write a Thesis on the differences between the order of making payments & the order that those payments reflect in a certain account.
Cover from Standard bank to all other banks.
Then from FNB to all other banks.
Then from ABSA to all other banks.
Then from Nedbank to all other banks.
Also from Capitec bank to all other banks.
Keep doing this until you've covered all the banks in SA to each of the banks in SA.

The see if there is a correlation between the order the payments are made, on the same day and the order in which they reflect in each account.

Should not only be interesting, but it'll keep you from asking silly questions...
