Introduction to 4x4 Skills - 28 August

We are planning a introduction to 4x4 skills day on the 28th of August at De Wildt.
The skills content (agenda also) that will be presented are:

7:45 - 8:00: Welcoming and Introduction to the 4x4AG
8:00 - 9:00: What is a 4x4, how does a 4x4 work, different types of 4x4 vehicles (Full time vs Part time 4x4) Presenter: Flip Kotze
9:00 – 9:45: Traction aids on a 4x4 vehicle: Different types, Pros and Cons. Presenter: Anthony Forgey.
9:45 - 10:00: Tea and Coffee
10:00 - 11:00: Different types of obstacles and how to prepare for each obstacle. Presenter: Pierre Eksteen.
11:00 – 12:00: How to make a 4x4 vehicle better: Tires, protection, suspension, radio communication. Presenter: Manny de Freitas
12:00 - 13:00: Lunch
13:00 – 14:30: Practical course on the track

We will limit the event to:

1. 10 Vehicles max
2. 2 occupants per vehicle max
3. Preference given to 4x4 beginners, if you 4x4 often then this course is not for you and we cannot add you to the attendance list

Cost:
- R250 per vehicle plus
- R180 per person plus
- R101 per person for snacks and lunch (Boerewors rol)

Example:
Cornell & his friend Marnus in his Everest:
R250 + R180 for Cornel + R180 for Marnus + R202 for 2 pax for lunch = R812.00

Okay, so if I come (which I can’t) with my wife and two kids I need to pay R1374?

R250 - 1 car
R720 - 4 people
R404 - 4 boerewors rolls and snacks.

Is that right?

Thanks for adding value Kurt but no. 1 car 250, you and your wife 360, 202 for lunch and snacks, that's R812.

Max 2 people per vehicle.

For those that want to complain about the pricing, google 4x4 courses, R1400 for the driver and R350 for a passenger…. Ours is a bargain.

NB: This is aimed at people relatively new to 4x4'ing.
It's an INTRODUCTORY course.

Absolutely no need to get so defensive Wessel Image, I was genuinely just asking so that it was clear. You’re doing a great job as a committee Image

It's an introductory course, so it should be of great benefit to them...

Wow, this course is a bargain.

A course presented by people who really know what they are talking about (they actually get out there and practice what they are teaching).

AND at a ridiculously low price.
